Changing a Flat Tire

So your cruising around in your 240, just doing your thing be it going to work, hard parking, drifting, just driving around with your buddies. FLUB FLUB FLUB FLUB oh no, you have a flat tire, what to do?

Step one: pull safely off the road, put your vehicle in park, or gear with the emergency brake on. Try to get a flat area to jack your car up on, get out and inspect the damage.

Step two: go to the area of your car where you keep your tools/jack/spare tire

Step three:break all lug nuts loose with the lug wrench before you do anything.

Step four: use your jack under a safe jacking point (if you look underneath your vehicle, right under your driver side or passenger door, there should be a pinch weld, or a factory jack point, in the front and back on both sides) that will be where you wanna put your jack, or under your cross member, theres many places you can put it.

Step five: jack the vehicle up, you don’t need it 3 feet off the ground to change a tire, as long as the tire is off the ground your fine.

Step six: loosen your lug nuts with your lug wrench the rest of the way, and set them inside the vehicle so you don’t loose them.

Step seven: remove the wheel from the wheel studs, bend down, with your knee’s not your back, and pull the wheel straight off the studs, watch your hands for metal strands coming from the damaged tire.

Step eight: get your spare tire and once again use your knees, bend down and put it directly onto your wheel studs

step nine: tighten your lug nuts, tighten all of them a little bit at a time, or use a star pattern, your not cranking down on them, make them say finger tight.

Step ten: lower the car off the jack

Step eleven: Now proceed to crank down on the lug nuts, tightening them all a little bit at a time, or using a star pattern.

step twelve: put away all of your tools and your wheel with the flat tire, check your work over and make sure its all good.

Step thirteen: start your engine, put on your turn signal and pull out in cautiously manner, oh who am I kidding rip on it and leave in a trail of smoke…
