Staff Bio Canaan (Promise Land)

Canaan is a Process Engineer working in the Canton, MS assembly plant. He started in 2005 and was assigned to work with interior trim of the vehicle and some of engine components. During that time he had parts on all the vehicles assembled in the factory (at that time Titan truck, Armada SUV, Infinity QX56 SUV, Quest minivan, and the Altima sedan. He is currently working on a new commercial vehicle for the Canton, MS factory.

Canaan grew up in Colorado and when he graduated college he moved to Nashville, TN. He had the crazy dream to be a country music singer. After a year of working on that he started to work for an automotive interior supplier that supplied to Nissan in Tennessee. He stayed there for the next few years and then went to a body supplier to Nissan also. This company supplied to both the Tennessee and Mississippi factories. From those interactions with the MS factory, he was able to apply for an engineering position and relocated.

He is married to his wife of 7.5 years and currently has no chidlren. He lives on a 10-acre farm outside of Jackson, MS with 11 llamas, 3 donkeys, 27 chickens, and 3 cats.

2009: 2009 Nissan Versa (my first new car!)

He currently trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in his off hours away from NICOclub and is building his Versa as time and money allows. Since there is little aftermarket available, he is having to do some unique itmes with the Versa. Come check out the latest update…
