So you want to know a little more about me huh? Well I like romantic candlelight dinners and walks on the beach! I bet now you wished you didn’t asked huh…
Anyway, my name is Darryl and professionally I am a Network Engineer for one of THE biggest Defense Contractors. I design, build and implement, Top Secret, Secret and Unclassified networks for the US government.
I have 3 kids (23, 21, 17) and also a grandfather of 2 from my 23 yr old son.
I’ve been pasionate about cars for pretty much my life. My first motor I ever built was a 302 Ford Cleveland back in ’82. In my teenage years I was pretty heavy in the domestic cars – ford, chevy, pontiac – but after college I bought my first import, an ACURA Legend. Most of my cars from that time on were mostly Acuras untill in 2006 I though I would try the other end of the import world; a Toyota FF Cruiser. That was a fun vehicle but it wasn’t for me. I started to look at Nissan 350Z and the Infiniti G35 when my good friend who worked for Nissan called me and told me that he had a loaded 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE. So I went down and drove it and I was hooked and I HAD to have it! Not long after purchasing the car, I found NICO and I haven’t looked back since.
To me, Nico is not just a forum where car enthusiast gather and share knowledge and stories but it is also a family..an extended family! I have met a lot of great people here and I hope to meet more and bring in more into the “”Family”.
