My name is Sean aka G_whizz, I was born October 2. 1973 in Quebec, Canada (Damn you Beaner) I lived there until I was 5 (No I don’t speak French) and then moved to Toronto, Ontario (Canada…for those that don’t know) where I have been ever since. I am currently engaged to a beautiful, kind and genuine girl named Nicola who used to be my assistant here at work. I’m also a new Dad and have a lil shorty named Connor who is the centre of my universe!
I own 20% of a staffing agency here in Mississauga for the past 6 years. Before that, I worked for many years at an Industrial chemical company as a District Sales manager. I jumped ship to another company and 6 months later they closed. Of course it was 2 weeks after I had bought my new car and my house. So it was a big gamble for me to take what savings and dump it into the staffing agency I now co-own. I have been working since high school and never had the chance to attend College or University. I’ve always had a bit of a problem with authority, so I have learned about the business world from the ground up. My biggest pet peeve is arrogance and laziness.
As for my interests, I play the drums, I like to fish and camp, I hit the gym regularly, beach volleyball, go for drives, movies, tattoos, concerts (I am a die hard Rock fan), comics, drawing, videogames and I’m a BIGTIME NHL and NFL fan and of course cars.
I always liked cars but was never really mechanically inclined. I never had anyone really teach me and I was always so damn broke, I couldn’t even afford to buy a junker to experiment on. I can turn a wrench, but don’t ask me to help take apart an engine, because there will be extra parts left over. Unlike many people I see on NICO who seemed to have owned a hundred cars, I have only really had a few.
First car was a 91 Oldmobile that I bought for $1500… that sat in my driveway for 1 year until the original owner couldn’t stand seeing it rusting away, so he bought it back off me. My next car was a 93 Volkswagen Passat, I will never own another one…
I then bought a black on black 2003 Maxima SE. LOVED the car, that was also the first day I laid eyes on the Infiniti G35… but that would have to wait. The time came and I bought an 05 G35 Coupe (I had a pic of it as my screensaver for 2 years) I then got a solid deal on an 07 Coupe and that is what I currently have.
I found NICO when I had a clutch problem in my 05 G35 and typed my question in on Google.
NICO is my first and only car forum I will ever be a part of and contribute to. I am honored to be surrounded by a group of people I have never met, but still seem like family and guys I have known forever. I look forward to watching NICO grow and hopefully meet most or all of you someday…because you are all kik ass guys!!
