Brian Gabel aka LongBeachCoupe was born in Staten Island NY, currently
living on Long Island NY
Finance guy with a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University, Class of 2004.
During my education there I met the love of my life, Jackie, who comes
out to local meets on occasion and keeps me from going mad! We will be
getting married sometime in the future.
I am often referred to as the “slick deal guy” here on NICO because I
come across some of the best deals you can find on the internet,
nothing makes me happier than getting something for dirt cheap that
others are paying 3x as much for, often times I share these deals with
the NICO community in the General section.
The Cars….My first car was a new 2000 Mustang when I got my license
at 17 and I wasn’t pleased with it at all. It finally kicked the
bucket just before the summer of 2007 and I made the switch. I knew I
wanted a NISSAN and my friend and Nissan Technician Joe told me to
check out the newly released 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe, I was hooked.
3 days before I took 2 trains and traveled 200+ miles to pick up my
car I came across the NICO forums and signed up. Since then I have had
such a great experience here interacting with members and staff,
learning and sharing my knowledge. From there I organized my first
local NICO meet which only had one other member attend, I grew the
local meets and now it’s not out of the question to see 20+ Altima
Coupes come out to share their love of the car and the NICO forums.
I spend my spare time on NICO, selling stuff on eBay, hanging out with
my girlfriend, playing videogames, traveling, and the occasional round
of golf.
