I was born in Green Bay, WI and have lived here all of my life. I enjoy golfing, biking, basketball, hiking, traveling, playing Madden, cars, and of course, football (Packers). I love to work on projects around the home. I am very handy when it comes to building and construction. I am the store manager for a large pool, hot tub, and patio retailer in eastern Wisconsin. And yes, I do have a hot tub, and YES, women sure do love hot tubs and getting crazy in them!
I enjoy spending time with my family. I met my wife Amy in 1998, after many wonderful years together we married September 6, 2003. We are literally best friends. After several years of being married we decided it was time to add even more excitement to our lives. We had our first child Evan in fall of 2006. We then welcomed our second son Mason into the world in February of 2009. Life is pretty crazy now but I still manage to find time to feed my Nissan and automobile interest as well as golfing at least once or twice a week.
As far as Nissans go……my then girlfriend (wife) got me introduced to my first Nissan in the summer of 1999. I snagged an awesome deal on a brand new 1999 Altima SE Limited. It was Ultra Red with black leather interior, and the cool white metallic faced gauges. It was love at first sight. I loved the Altima, but I needed a truck for hauling stuff, so I ordered a 2001 Solar Yellow Supercharged Frontier Crew Cab (cool thing was my wife kept the Altima). I was so pumped when I got that beast! Black leather interior with red stitching completed the interior. I purchased PIAA super white head light bulbs and fog light bulbs to dress it up for the night life. A K&N intake was the only engine mod done to the blown 3.3. After a couple of years with the Frontier, I fell in love with the Murano when it was first released. I like the idea of an SUV instead of a open bed and jumped on a brand new 2003 Glacier Pearl Murano. The big mod (although not really a mod) with the Murano was the factory, yet non-factory XM satellite radio. All ’03 Muranos had a sticker on the dash that said you could NOT use the head unit for XM even though there was a SAT button. They were wrong, all I had to do was run the pre-wire from the head unit to the spare tire area, install the receiver and antenna, and boom, I was enjoying XM for the first time. With a growing family, I decided to go up in size and in luxury as I purchased my Infiniti QX56. I loved this beast! Mods on the QX56 included the K&N intake, running the factory rear DVD feed to the front NAV screen and a TV tuner. A few months after bring the QX56 to my garage, my wife decided to trade her Toyota Solara in and rejoin the Nissan family when we purchased a ’05 Infiniti G35x. Pretty much all stock on the car, with the exception of the XM antenna that I ordered custom from Color Match Antenna. My wife then decided with our growing family that she wanted to try an SUV again, so we grabbed an awesome deal on a 2009 Murano LE in Tinted Bronze. After driving the Murano for about 9 months, my wife decided she really missed having a fast car, so we ended up kissing the Murano goodbye in favor of a 2008 Altima 3.5 SE in Dark Slate, fully loaded with all the bells! As for my current vehicle, I decided I loved my QX56 so much that I purchased a 2008 Armada LE in Timberline. My Armada is fully loaded, but I did drop a K&N air filter in, and I performed the mod to allow the rear DVD feed to be played on the front Navigation screen (along with being able to have full menu functions while the vehicle is in motion).
Obviously I have a passion for Nissan/Infiniti products, and I hope to share my knowledge with others and have a lot of fun along the way. I really enjoy discussing Nissan products and I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion about the products with others!
