Staff Bio's >> Kenny (NSRA32) Nissan Online MechanicBio: Ahoy. My name is Ken and I've been a member of NICO since September of 2006. I was born in Westlake, OH and have lived in the the area for my entire life. My first experiences dealing with cars began in my father's garage as I was growing up. I learned to do basic maintanence such as brakes and front end work about the age of 12 and I haven't looked back since. When I finished high school, I entered a local community college in hopes of one day being in the Secret Service or the like. I soon realized this wasn't for me and that my true calling dealt within the automotive industry. I was working at Sears in the hardware department at the time and I decided it was a time for a change. I contacted the manager of the Sears auto center just across the parking lot from the store. He took me on as a tire and lube technician. I worked for him for about 9 months and realized tires and oil changes wasn't where I wanted to be either. I took a job working for a full service auto care center. It was there I began picking up the various amount of skills I would need in the industry. After I left that job, I found myself at the door of National Tire and Battery. I soon realized that a former high school friend of mine was working there at the time. Turns out Josh (nsr_s13), was very good friends with a Nissan nut. That particular Nissan nut, Jerry(nsrZ32), is the one that convinced me to get into the Nissan game. He is also the one who got me my current position working for a Nissan dealer. I got my first Nissan in July of 2006 and I joined NICO in September of that same year. I've been very active within the NICO and Nissan community since I purchased my Maxima and I'm looking forward to helping all the new and of course, the existing members.
