First Nissan/Datsun owned: 1982 Nissan Stanza (first car in US badged
solely as a Nissan) that was back around 1990.
Other Nissan/Datsuns Owned: 1985 300ZX, 1990 Hardbody SE-V6, 1987 PulsarNX
SE, 1999 Frontier SEV6.
Current Nissan/Datsun: 1971 240Z
Mods: 83 Turbo motor, extra boost and fuel, sumped gas tank, electric
fan, home made fuel rail, Megasquirt ‘N’ Spark
Drivetrain: 240SX 5 speed mated to the front half of
a 280Z 4 speed, alum flywheel, 88 SS viscous diff with modified stock
rear half shafts
Suspension: ST springs, MSA Sway bars, MSA Strut bars,
Koni Adjustables, full hyperflex bushings
Brakes: hawk HP+ pads in front, 78 dual piston rear
drums
Interior: just a pair of Corbeau's and a dash (no heater
or anything that might slow me down)
Body: PRIMER! Too fast for paint !
Accomplishments: I’ve been autocrossing for about 5 years, competed
in the Grassroots Motorsports Challange 3 times (about to be 4 on April
1st), once in a Honda (don't tell) and twice in my Z.
I have an illness that makes me drag home non-running Nissan/Datsun
products and I don't want to be cured.
I’ve been working on my own cars since I got my very first car
and couldn't afford to have it worked on.
