Howdy, I'm James Phillips, call me James...or 1der. I've been in Tennessee most of my life but Nissans all my life. My first Nissan memory was of a Datsun 720 pickup my uncle owned, neat truck, good for little truck duties. Sadly, that was the last Nissan in the family for about 15 years. Fast forward through me growing up, moving out of North Carolina to TN and sitting on my ass amassing a sweet body fat percentage, a Nissan came back. This time, it was in the form of a 1985 Nissan 200SX hatch with the CA20E. It was a real powerhouse (did I forget to mention my amazing sarcasm and wit?). While it was really by brother's car, it was still the first car I learned to drive a manual on. He eventually killed it by letting it leak out all of the oil. After highschool and after I decided to pass on joining the Marine Corps, I've basically drifted from job to job be it working at a gas station or packaging VQ35DE's in a warehouse or now my current job as a carpenter building custom tourbuses for the stars. During this time I was introduced to NICO. I wish I never had been, it's the only addiction I've ever had. From the start, I was a rabid poster, sure it wasn't ever anything someone would learn from, but surely laugh right? However, in these three years, to say I haven't learned anything would be anything but the truth. I've learned an enormous amount, not only about cars but people too. At the time of this writing, I'm a very new moderator and expect to learn even more than ever. Thanks for reading this and even more thank for coming to this site!
