Background:
I initially started playing with car audio in 1982 while in high school.
My first car was a 1979 Toyota Celica which had both stereo and performance
mods (Header, lowered suspension, rim/tire upgrades, and Kenwood stereo system).
Second car was a 1978 Cutlass w/built 350, followed by a 1967 Camaro. I went full
out on customizing a 1983 Corolla, then migrated to a 1993 Probe GT. Next up was my 2002 Maxima
SE which is still "in the family" as my wifes Daily Driver. My current vehicle is a 2008
Infiniti G37s Coupe. I have also owned additional Nissan products that were not modified
(other than stereo):
1996 Nissan Sentra GXE
1998 Nissan Quest
2000 Mercury Villager Estate (Hey, it's really a Quest!)
Mechanical knowledge comes from working on my own cars and includes
just about everything other than full engine/tranny rebuilds. Being
an “Old Fart”, I don't do too many mechanical repairs anymore,
unless I am assisting other people.
Hobbies:
Cars, of course. I hope to have a muscle car in my garage within the
next couple of years. I like woodworking, computers, golf, and home
improvement projects as well. As seen here, another hobby that I enjoy
is doing webpage design, including the latest forum changes plus numerous
NICO portals. My personal home page is:
maxima.moodym.com
