So, my name is Noah, and I was born in Cottonwood AZ. I lived there for 22 years. It was a boring little town, and so all there was to do were school, martial arts, BMX and cars. I started messing with cars long before I was legal to drive. Growing up in a town of 5k people is great, because you have so many dirt roads that you can legally drive on when you are underage. I started “drifting” my 72 Buick Skylark in the gravel, before we knew it as drifting. I never really had a great car, while I lived there, but had a lot of fun junkers.

When I was 22, I was tired of living in a small town, so I moved to Dallas Texas. That was one of the most fun places I have ever lived. There is always something going on, and there was never a need to leave the city. Everything you could ever want was just a drive away. I was working at a fence company that I eventually became a partner in. Became heavily involved in MMA (mixed martial arts) and still rode the BMX a lot. Never became pro at either sport. BMX started to take a toll on my body. After building the nicest iron and wood fences in Dallas, I knew that fencing was not my calling

My friend of 25 years asked me to move to Washington State. So to Rain City I went. I arrived here in Olympia a few weeks after 9/11, and started work as a Sous Chef in a five star Italian restaurant (yes I'm that good of a cook) and worked there until my friend purchased that restaurant. I knew a friendship of that many years was too good to waste by working together. So I left his restaurant and started as a barista at a local espresso shop. I also opened up a MMA gym that did not work out. I was severely hurt (broken nose/fractured eye socket) and completely stopped fighting. I still advise friends a little bit, but now I'm mostly a spectator. I started managing the coffee shop, and stayed there for 3 years. That is where I met my wonderful wife. A few months after meeting Mia, our contract was cancelled and we had to move. If you’ve ever been to WA State, you know that coffee shops are on every corner, and so we weren’t able to find a location that suited us. This is about the time that Mia gave me her Nissan Maxima. I had never owned a Nissan, but was truly amazed at what a great car it was, however, I wanted it sportier. This is also when NICOclub came into my life. I had found "another Maxima Forum", was flamed there a few times, and never really went back. When I found NICO, immediately I felt welcome. I finally found home. I have been here ever since. It's my home inside the computer. So the quest began on making my Maxima into as much of a sports car as I could. I started with the usual, intake, full exhaust, and then started on suspension. I put front and rear strut tower bars, Eibach springs and Tokico Illumina struts, and finished it off with sway bars.

So since the coffee shop was closed, I started work for Dominic’s Coffee Co. and was working in their warehouse. After a year of hard work, I was promoted to Warehouse Manager. I continued to work as warehouse manager, and took over the duties of Head Roaster as well.

Then a sad day came, and Dominic’s was sold. I was transferred to the main warehouse of the parent company that owned Dominic’s coffee. I was placed in the cigarette department as the Manager. My primary duties are maintenance of the tax stamping machines, overseeing a stocking and picking crew, and making sure that every pack gets a tax stamp applied.

So one day, my stepson called, and needed a car. My wife and I went looking to find him a car that would be reliable for years to come. We searched and searched, but nothing for what we were looking to spend could meet our expectations. So seeing my wife’s disappointment, I told her that we could give my Maxima to my stepson. She looked at me and said “Really?” Knowing how much work I had put into the car, and how much I loved it, she knew it wasn’t easy to part with.

So we start looking for a car for me to buy. My only requirements were I didn’t want a Honda or a Mitsubishi. Needless to say, we went to the Nissan dealership, and I was looking at some Altimas. She was wandering around, and came back with a big smile on her face. She said she had found the car she wanted me to have, and knew I would love it. She had picked out my Infiniti G35. I was very excited to say the least. So that is how I got my G. I have started doing a few mods to it, intake, dual exhaust, and a couple of aesthetic mods. Eventually I plan to supercharge it, but that’ll take some time.
