Staff Bio's >> Devin (Reverend D) Altima Forum Moderator Bio: To those who don't know me, my name is Devin. People call me D, DeeSkee or Asshole. Whichever gets you through the day. First off, I have owned a Nissan or Datsun in some form since I was a teen. My first ride was a 1984 Sentra wagon which was an amazing car. I purchased a 81 Datsun 720 a couple years later to learn on. Spent many days at the junk yard hunting parts which taught me a lot. Sadly I no longer own the truck. My first automotive job was busting tires for Dunn Tire. I quickly worked my way up to shop foreman before leaving to work for Dorschel Toyota. At the same time I was enrolled in Toyotas T-Ten Technical Education Network which turned me into an ASE certified Pro-Tech. I graduated from oil changes to drivability. I left Toyota in 1999 to pursue a career in musical instrument sales which didn't go over so well, I'm no salesman would be putting it kindly. In 2002 I found myself behind the parts counter at a Volvo dealer, Best Motors out of Rochester, NY. Did that for a short time when I was called up by the Nissan service mgr at Dorschel, they wanted me on board. I accepted. I turned wrenches for Nissan for a while before parting ways on good terms. Now I am in the heavy trucking industry and have been since 2004. I am currently working as an outside rep for Utica General Peterbilt in Henrietta, NY. Prior to that I was a parts counter guy for Kenworth. My vehicle history is rather long but here goes: 1984 Nissan Sentra 1981 Datsun 720 KC ST 1984 Nissan 720 Dually 1992 Toyota Corolla 1983 Toyota Corolla wagon 1984 Toyota Tercell 1982 BMW 320i 1997 Nissan Altima GXE 2002 Mazda Millenia 1995 Nissan Hardbody There are some I know I am forgetting. I still own the Millenia and the Hardbody. I play a lot of video games. I produce some tunes which can be heard on myspace. My Music. My GF and I have quite a few fish tanks including a brand new 55 gallon we are still setting up. I collect guitars and currently have 8 of them. I am in school studying sociology, I plan to be an author some day. And that is all I can think of at the moment. Any questions, please ask. |
