The first-generation Datsun 310 (Pulsar and Cherry in non-US markets) was an economical and versatile sibling to the Sunny, and was available in several configurations: A three- or five-door hatchback, a four-door sedan, a two or four-door van or station wagon, a two-door fastback with wraparound rear window, and a four-door fastback (for a short time).
The Datsun 310 has remained relatively obscure among collectors and restorers, but the cars maintain a small but loyal cult-like following – with many still seeing daily-driver duty.
