Notes:
Make sure you have suitable line to connect your FPR.
You don’t need a rail adapter with the Megan racing unit, just make sure to use an o-ring to fill the gap.
Other than that, you should have everything that you need!
Procedure:
To start off this is what you are removing:
There are four items to remove from the stock FPR; first off take off the line going to the nipple for the fuel:
Then take out the two screws holding the FPR to the rail:
Then take off the vacuum reference hose….remember which one this is:
If you did get an adapter, swap the o-ring out to the adapter. If you didn’t, put the o-ring you went and got to use with the included adapter and slap it on.
Now to install:
connect the line that went to the stock FPR to the input side of the unit. Then use the hose you got to go to the fuel rail adapter (be it the one Megan included for you or another). This adapter is temporarily installed because i was doing other stuff as well and needed to leak check it.
Make sure you adjust it to 3 bar to start with and go from there if you need to.
I made a bracket to go into an existing hole to mount the FPR right next to the oil filter relocator.
hope it helps someone!
