Background: Born and raised in Olin, NC (1 hour North of Charlotte, no red lights). Graduated from Appalachian State Univ in Dec of 2001 with BS in Information systems. First job was programming for a global company with the office in Winston Salem, NC. After 5 years the company laid me off to outsource my job to India. Started in June 2007 working for Wake Forest Baptist Hospital as an Analyst (now Sr Analyst). Married in March ’14, adopted 2 kids from wife’s first marriage and had a new baby in Sept ’15. MOving into newly constructed house in Aug ’16. Live just a little Southwest of Winston Salem.

Automotive:
First car started the addiction, at age 15 after almost buying a ’85 Mustang 5.0 convertible but just missing it, my dad found an ’86 RX-7 that I loved from the beginning. It had 133k+ miles on it, but had no problems. After a little over a year I wanted something newer, but knew it had to be RWD and sporty, so at the end of my junior year of high school (’95) I found my first 240sx. A black 1992 Coupe SE (AT) fully loaded with 23k miles on it from Nissan of Statesville. Started modifing the car after finding 240sx.org in college, before I only knew about audio upgrades for the car.

After college I purchased my first new car, black 2002 Pathfinder SE 4×4 fully loaded from Moder Nissan in Winston Salem. It served very well as a daily driver and hauler at the time and had not complaints about it, at least until gas prices started climbing. The ’92 coupe was sadly totalled by an 18-wheeler without brakes in 2004, 2 weeks after a new engine (KA) and 5-speed swap had been completed. This sent me on a search for another 240sx.

In July of ’04 I had found a friend in Atlanta that was selling his white ’93 Coupe SE with Silvia front end with 165k miles. I picked the car up and have been working on it ever since. Turbo the KA has been my plan for years and have almost all the parts but just haven’t made it yet.

In 2006 I sold the Pathfinder due to the higher fuel costs and the want of a convertible. In October I found the convertible to buy, a red ’93 with 101k miles in Atlanta. I originally planned on leaving the convertible completely stock, we all know how well that works. So light mods have come to it and 5-speed will be soon.

In 2007 I had moved back to the area where I grew up and was driving 100 miles a day to work and back. So the need of a good commuter car had come to mind, so that I would not run up the miles on the convertible. After looking around I decided on the Versa in July of ’07 for the gas mileage, room, and hp/torque compared to other vehicles in that segment. So I picked up the black ’07 Versa SL (6MT) hatchback with sport and convience packages. I am happy with the cargo room, gas mileage, and ride of the car.

In 2009 I wanted more fun from driving. Traded the Versa in on an ’03 Infiniti G35 Coupe with 20k miles on it. Loving it so far. Also recently installed the turbo on my KA in the ’93 S13 Coupe and will begin the 5 speed swap of the ’93 S13 Convertible very soon.

In 2009 my S13 coupe was finally running KA-T, 10lbs of boost on stock S14 engine. Still remains the same as of July ’16.

In 2013 I sadly sold the S13 Convertible.

In 2014 I traded the G35 Coupe for a 2011 M56S needing the 4 doors.

Wife has been through a few Nissan products, 2007 Murano FWD (totaled), 2006 Murano AWD (traded), 2006 QX56 AWD (totaled), and just recently in July ’16 has a 2012 QX56 AWD.

My focus is to get my S13 in looking better with some OEM aero parts I have and paint/bodywork. Keeping driving fun at all times is still a goal.
