How to remove the cylinder head from a KA24DE
BY: S13xCrazy

Is it rocket science? Nope.
Did I figure a couple people would benefit from it? Absolutely.

If nothing else, it gives you an idea of what you are up against and shows how easy it really is. I have owned about 10 240sx, and I managed 4 bad headgaskets… A headgasket is not something to be afraid of and can be taken care of in a short amount of time. It’s only slightly different while the engine is still IN the car, but I can provide any tips you need there also!

My buddy asked for a hand, so I figured I would help out the entire 240 community…

I will be following this up with a HOW TO rebuild your cylinder head, and then an assembly video with tips and torque specs. Also we are doing a “how to turbo a ka24de” and emissions removal. Will post them all when they are done!

The key is TDC and marking your timing chains.

PART TWO:

I hope this helps. If you have questions after the videos, please feel free to ask them here:
