December 10, 2009 by Greg

by positronone

Overview:

Difficulty: – *

Time: – 10-30 minutes

Cost: – n/a

Tools:

– Phillips head driver
– Flathead driver or prybar

Procedure:

Open the door to gain access to the panel.

Locate your armrest grip and look down into it. There should either be a small square panel or an exposed screw. If you don’t see the panel, feel free to skip ahead.

Pry it up with your flathead gently and pull it out to access the Phillips screw underneath. Remove it.

Gently remove the trim around the door latch handle.

Locate and remove the other Phillips head screw in the part of the panel normally obscured by the side of the dashboard.

The panel should now be ready to pull or pry off.

If you have power accessories, the switches will need to be disconnected after the panel is free from the door.
