G35 Stereo and Climate Control removal

This DIY will show you how to remove the Stereo/CD/Radio unit and the Climate Controls out of your G35.

Tools Needed:

Small Flathead Screwdriver
Phillips Screwdriver
Cup or Tray to collect screws (Optional)

Step 1: Unclip trim at base of shifter. Push down to release.

Step 2:Remove gold C clip from shift knob.

Step 3:Unclip bezel around shifter and cupholders.

Step 4:Remove 2 gold screws below radio.

Step 5:Using a small screwdriver, Unclip bezel around clock and display.Pull straight to release.

Step 6:Remove 2 screws holding clock to dash.

Step 7: Remove gold screw behind clock.

Step 8:Remove 4 screws securing glovebox to car.Push straight down to unclip glovebox.

Step 9:Remove 2 screws securing console side panel.

Step 10:Unclip panel.

Step 11: Remove gold screw under hood release.

Step 12:Unclip panel under steering column.

Step 13:Remove 2 screws securing drivers side panel.

Step 14:Unclip center console side panel.

Remove radio and AC controls from dash.Separate radio body from AC controls and vents.
