How to: G35 Transverse Link Fix – Cheap!
BY: jmason

Tired of the lower control arms failing on my G35, I came up with a fix that seems to be working well.

The bushing where the transverse link connects to the frame seems to fail from lateral pressure on the bushing. For 10 dollars I bought 4 hockey pucks.

Drill a 7/8 inch hole just off center in all four.

Position the puck on the transverse link and marked the puck with a sharpie pen, tracing the outline of the arm.

Using a Dremel tool sanding drum, I removed some excess material from the puck, so that it would fit flush to the control arm.

Problem solved, no more buying new control arms!
