Every year, Bex and I take a couple days to attend the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. It’s about an hour drive from our house, and it makes a nice getaway.
We spend all day at the auction, browse the cars, enjoy the sunshine, have an awesome food truck lunch, take pictures of cars that interest us, learn about cars we’re unfamiliar with, and spend the night at a nice hotel, then go back and do it all again the next day. Not only do we get to have a nice time together, but it’s a good way to keep an eye on the collector car market.
(Here’s a thread about some of the cars we’re wishing we would have bid on – Check it out! Barrett-Jackson – Coulda, shoulda, woulda thread!
Plus, this year, we co-presented the “Future Classics Show” with our friends from ClassicCars.com and Car Street Journal – we’ll do a separate article on that one, but suffice it to say, it was a success.
If you ever want to make a trip out to AZ in January and join us at the auction, let us know – we’d be glad to ‘show you the ropes.’
That’s all I wanted to share – The rest is just all of the pictures we took. I hope you guys enjoy them!
Keep on motoring!
Greg & Bex
