Heath lives in Columbia, SC with his wife Dana and young son who joined the family in late 2009. He is a residential real estate broker and investor, specializing in listing foreclosures for banks. He’s a graduate of the University of South Carolina in 1996 and 1998. He enjoys tinkering with anything mechanical, electrical, plumbing related or structural, and takes on renovation projects around the house and at investment properties, as well as maintaining the family fleet of Nissan products.
His primary car is a 1990 Infiniti Q45, affectionately known as “Q2” – since it’s a replacement for an identical one that he drove from 1996 to 2006. His wife drives a 2005 G35 Sedan, and he also owns a 2004 Nissan Frontier. Prior Nissans include a 1991 Nissan Maxima that met an unfortunate end in the mid 1990s resulting from a road hazard and quarter sized hole in the sidewall of a front tire. He also owned a 1997 Hardbody Truck that now lives two doors down with a neighbor.
His first car (sadly) was a 1986 Honda Civic “Wagovan” followed by a 1990 Mercury Cougar that was a major lemon. It’s possible that his love for Nissans was engrained at a very early age, since his father sold his canary yellow 1971 240Z and replaced it with an Audi Fox shortly after he was born. He’s still a little bitter that his dad couldn’t figure out how to keep both. His parents also owned a 1988 Nissan Maxima, and a 1987 Nissan Stanza Wagon/Van, with the dual sliding doors – probably Nissans least structurally sound vehicle ever.
Other interests include University of South Carolina “Gamecock” football, NFL Football – especially the Carolina Panthers, and all things Jimmy Buffett.
