First, you have to determine if you have the gap needed for the lights. If you have the Stillen fascia, you’ll have the gap needed. Not sure on the stock so you’ll need to look and measure the distance. You’ll need about 1/4″ inches to fit the LEDs.
Next, you’ll need 2 – 19″ white flexible light strips from oznium.com These strips will come with a 3M double sided adhesive. These strips can be cut to length. From the opposite end of the wire, you’ll need to cut off 12 sections of LEDs.(4 groups of 3s) After you cut it to length, dab some silicone at the end to protect it from the elements.
Then, apply the adhesive on one side on the strip and place them underneath the headlight so the front of the LED is flushed with the leading edge of the headlight. Be Sure to clean underneath the headlight well and don’t get it wet!
After you have the LED strips mounted, energize them and see how they look. When you’re satisfied on the placement and wiring, put the fascia back on and make sure the fascia “sandwiches” the LEDs between the it and the headlight.
I hooked mine up temporarily to the park lights. You can hook them to any power source you like, to create the on/off feature you like.
