DIY JGY Turbo Manifold for KA

December 10, 2009 by Greg

I was building my manifold to accept a 2002 WRX internally wastegated turbo, and they didnt have that flange, so I had to make it myself. They threw in some random radius plate and flange for some reason though.

Upon receiving the heavy bag of metal, you must first make sure everything is there (there have been some issues with JGS sometimes forgetting stuff).

BikiRom Megaboard Installation

December 10, 2009 by Greg

Well I have finished the installation and with minimal problems the car runs off the new board now, the current program that is in there is a stock na ka24de s14 bin with some tweaks from yours truly.

I must say the car feels much smoother and more responsive then with the oem setup.

Either way here is a step by step and what is needed to get it done.

Walbro Fuel Pump Install (S14)

December 10, 2009 by Greg

You will probably want to do this install with a tank that is half full, if you do it with a full tank, you’ll have to reach down into the fuel to get the pump out and again to reinstall it. if you do it with an empty tank, the new pump might not prime and the car won’t start until you add more fuel.

Now that thats out of the way, on with the install!!!

Vroom-Chirp: Tired of your hard arm rest?

December 10, 2009 by Greg

Here’s how i did it.

1. Get your self some:
– foam of your choice (fabric store)
– vynol / leather / or pleather of your choice ($10.oo per yard at a fabric store)
– Rozor blade
– office stapler, if you choose to do it my way, or another way to make the vynol stay in place while your streatching it.

2. Pull off your arm rest by removing the two screws at the bottom holding the hinge on. and wiggle the arch out carefully.

3. Remove all the screws, including the one hiding under the latch.
